Tayon Kulos, the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of For the People released the following statement this afternoon following the inauguration of President Joseph R. Biden and Vice President Kamala D. Harris:
"Democracy faced a number of challenges during these last four years, but today, we've all witnessed that democracy stands strong. Furthermore, we are pleased to see a Black woman help lead the charge to better our nation. We are ready to get to work. This is our time. This is our moment."
